This is the first and only 16 handles location that I have been to. It is on the busy Amsterdam Ave on the Upper West Side and gets lots of business. They always have 16 flavors, hence the name. The flavors are normally split between fruit flavors and desert flavors. This store offers samples!

Ratings (1-7 swirls) 

Quality: 

The yogurt is top quality. The fruit flavors are a little less tart than I like, but the desert flavors taste exactly like the dessert they made after. The unique dessert flavor that I enjoy is the thin mint. You will think you are munching on a thin mint cookie. 

Variety of Fro Yo: 

As I mentioned there are always 16 flavors and they rotate throughout the year. 

Variety of Toppings: 

16 Handles have a wide variety of toppings. There are a lot of fruits, sauces, and desserts available. I personally enjoy the chocolate turtles that are filled with carmel!

Ambiance:
The store is bright and modern like a lot of fro yo places, but this location is extremely busy. There is a fair amount of seating inside and in the summer they put lots of chairs outside. But overall the busy-ness of the store makes it less enjoyable.
