Yogurbella- Naples

9118 Strada Pl, Naples, FL 34108

Hours: Mon-Sun 11am-11pm

Phone: (239) 431-6787

Since it is almost always warm in Florida it is the perfect fro yo eating weather all the time! One of my first stops in Naples was to Yogurbella. It is a fro yo chain mostly in southern Florida. After sampling a few flavors I chose strawberry with mango, banana, and chocolate chips.

Ratings (1-7 Swirls)

Quality:
The yogurt was good, but not as tangy as I prefer. It is also pretty creamy and melts quickly which is a major downside in such a hot climate.

Variety:
There were 6 different flavors when I went to Yogurbella, though their website says they offer many more. The flavors on the website were much more interesting then the ones in the store. They offered ones such as original, vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. I would increase my rating if more of the interesting flavors were available while I was there.

Variety of Toppings:
There was a very small selection of toppings to choose from, but the toppings that were available were very tasty. The fruit was very fresh, which is refreshing when coming from winter climates. Just like the variety of yogurt the website talks about many unique toppings, yet none were at the location when I visited. Also they do not have honey, but they used to... bring back the honey!

Ambiance:
I would say this was the best part of the store. It was on the smaller side but had a huge patio outside to sit and enjoy fro yo. The store is located in an upscale outdoor shopping and dining center but it is  beautifully designed and the temperatures of Naples make it extra enjoyable.

Yogen Fruz- Loop

333 South State St. Chicago, IL 60604

Hours: Mon-Fri 11am-8pm
          Sat 10am-8pm
          Sun 11am-5pm

Phone: (312) 431-1150

I haven't blogged in quite a while because it has been just so cold. It finally went above freezing so I headed straight for the closest fro yo place. I have heard of Yogen Fruz, but this was the first time I had the chance to try one. It is unique in the sense that it only has an original flavor, but you choose what fruit or ingredients to put in the fro yo and they mix it in so it becomes the flavor. This makes for many possible flavor combos. I chose mango fro yo with pomegranate seeds, dark chocolate chips, and strawberries.

Ratings (1-7 swirls)

Quality:
I thought the yogurt was delicious, but I think the mango wasn't the best choice. It tasted like mango, but the flavor wasn't as strong as I would like it to be. I think I will go back and try a stronger flavor like pineapple or raspberry and I'm guessing my rating will go up.

Variety:
Yogen Fruz had so many possible flavors because you create your own. I also like knowing that it is real fruit going into my yogurt versus processed chemical flavors.

Variety of Toppings:
They serve a fair amount of topping, but the only exciting one to me was the pomegranate seeds. Other wise it has the standard fruit, cereal and candy. Another downfall is the lack of honey!

Ambiance:
The store is bigger than the store front suggests and there was plenty of seating. It was clean and modern, but nothing exceptionally interesting.
